Nashville Zoo, TN

The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere is a zoological garden and historic plantation farmhouse located 6 miles southeast of Downtown Nashville. As of 2014, the zoo was middle Tennessee's top paid attraction and contained 6,230 individual animals, encompassing 339 species. The zoo's site is approximately 188 acres in size.

The Hyde Collection is an art museum in the city of Glens Falls in Upstate New York. The collections were endowed by the Hyde family. 

The Zoo in Forest Park

The Zoo In Forest Park and Education Center, also known as the Forest Park Zoo, is a nonprofit zoo situated in Forest Park, Springfield, Massachusetts. It spans an area of four acres and is home to a variety of exotic, native, and endangered species. 

Parc Safari, Quebec

Parc Safari is a zoo in Hemmingford, Quebec, Canada, and is one of the region's major tourist attractions; Parc Safari, an animal and amusement park was founded in 1972. It currently holds 500 animals of 50 different species. It is located close to the United States and draws many American visitors. 

Greensboro Science Center, NC

The Greensboro Science Center is a science museum and zoological park established in 1957 and located in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. It has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since 2008, and is a member of the American Alliance of Museums. 

Gibbon Conservation Center, CA

The Gibbons Conservation Centers's mission is to promote the conservation, study, and care of gibbons through public education and habitat preservation. 

Cosley Zoo, IL

Cosley Zoo is an AZA-accredited zoo located in Wheaton, Illinois. It is a facility of the Wheaton Park District and open year-round. The zoo, which is situated on 5 acres of land, is built on the site of a historic train station and consists of domestic animals, as well as wildlife that is native to Illinois. 

Santa Ana Zoo, CA

The Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park in Santa Ana, California, is a 20-acre zoo focusing on the animals and plants of Central and South America. The Santa Ana Zoo hosts more than 270,000 people annually. The zoo opened in 1952 and is owned and operated by the City of Santa Ana. 

Big Bear Alpine Zoo, CA

The Big Bear Alpine Zoo is a zoo in Big Bear Lake, California, United States. It is one of two Alpine zoos in the United States. It specializes in rehab and release of local Alpine species and also has a permanent collection of animals in their zoo. It was located across the street from Bear Mountain Ski Resort. 

Maui Ocean Center, HI

The Maui Ocean Center is an aquarium and oceanography center located in Maalaea, Hawaii, on the island of Maui. Opened on March 13, 1998, by Coral World International, the 3 acres facility is the largest living tropical reef aquarium in the Western Hemisphere.

Utica Zoo is a regional zoo in Utica, New York, situated in a section of Roscoe Conkling Park. It consists of a mixture of outdoor and indoor animal enclosures, a petting zoo, nature trails, and other amenities. 

Alexandria Zoological Park, LA

The Alexandria Zoological Park is a 33-acre zoo located in Alexandria, Louisiana, United States. First opened to the public in 1926, it is owned by the City of Alexandria and operated by the Division of Public Works. It is home to about 500 animals. The zoo was started in 1926 in Bringhurst Park as a row of cages.

Coggeshall Farm Museum is a non-profit farm museum in Colt State Park in Bristol, Rhode Island, U.S.A. The eighteenth-century coastal tenant farm is located on 48 acres of land in Bristol and features interpreters and authentic reenactments of farm life in the year 1799.

African Safari Wildlife Park, OH

The African Safari Wildlife Park is a drive through wildlife park in Port Clinton, Ohio, United States. Visitors can drive through the 100-acre preserve and watch and feed the animals from their car. 

Lake Superior Zoo, MN

The Lake Superior Zoo, previously known as the Duluth Zoo, is an Association of Zoos and Aquariums accredited zoo in Duluth, Minnesota. 

The Texas Zoo, TX

The Texas Zoo is home to over 70 species of animals, most native to Texas, and others can only be found in remote locations worldwide. Many of The Texas Zoo's wild residents are rescue animals that could not be returned to the wild or come from owners that could no longer provide the necessary care.

The Catoctin Wildlife Preserve is a 100-acre zoo and wildlife preserve located on Maryland Route 806 in Thurmont, Maryland, United States. The preserve features safari truck rides that let visitors touch and feed large herbivores in a wooded setting. 

The Florida Aquarium, FL

The Florida Aquarium is a 501 non-profit organization, publicly operated institution located in downtown Tampa, Florida, United States. It is a large scale, 250,000-square-foot aquarium and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. 

Washington Park Zoo, IN

The Washington Park Zoo is a zoo located in Washington Park, Michigan City, Indiana, which covers 15 acres on a hilly sand dune close to the southeastern tip of Lake Michigan. The park and zoo were listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. 

Rattlesnake Museum, NE

The American International Rattlesnake Museum is an animal conservation museum located in Albuquerque, New Mexico in Old Town Albuquerque. The museum is devoted to snakes, particularly rattlesnakes, and is dedicated to rattlesnake education. 

Binghamton Zoo, NY

The Ross Park Zoo is a zoo located in Binghamton, New York, United States. The zoo was opened in 1875, making it the 5th oldest zoo in the nation. The zoo is open seasonally from April through December. 

Waikiki Aquarium, HI

The Waikīkī Aquarium is an aquarium in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States. It was founded in 1904 and has been an institution of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa since 1919. The aquarium is the second-oldest still-operating public aquarium in the United States, after the New York Aquarium.

Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary, also known as Prescott Animal Park Association, is a non-profit animal sanctuary in Prescott, Arizona, United States.

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is a small 16-acre zoo and amusement park in San Jose, California, which originally opened in 1961.
